Kyle + Kait own and operate Barn + Bliss Weddings & Events with pride, passionand dedication. The couple’s shared love of the outdoors and countryside initially gave them the idea to restore a barn for their own wedding and since then, they have completely restored and renovated a second barn that has quickly established a reputation as the “venue of choice”.
The couple first met in high school and became best friends but only began dating in 2014 when their life's paths crossed once again. In 2016, they brought their beautiful daughter into the world and their lives were forever changed. The couple wanted to build a family business and legacy for their daughter and future children. A tragedy caused the couple to abandon their first restored barn (where they were married) however, the pair quickly found a second property with an ideal barn to restore.
In 2019, the property at 150 Eugene Road was acquired and the restoration began shortly thereafter. In the midst of their massive undertaking, the family grew larger with the birth of their second daughter in 2019. It became clearer than ever that the venue would become a place where fun and life lessons would be had for their daughters.2019 and the blurry years that followed brought the family many obstacles (like so many others) and business was not permitted.
Kyle + Kait continued to make improvements on the barn and in 2021, the doors were finally officially open for business!Since 2021, the Carneiro's have hosted many weddings, community events (i.e. Family Fun Day, Christmas, Halloween parties, Vendor Markets, Wedding Expo's, Corporate events) and the barn has even been featured in a Hallmark Production "A Merry Christmas Wish".

With the help of family, friends and neighbours we have restored a beautiful dairy barn into the perfect wedding venue. We truly value our clients and the experience that they and their guests have on our property and in our venue.
When booking our venue, the blood, sweat, tears shed by all in the restoration process are apparent. When booking with us, you are supporting a dream that has been 9 years in the making.
The Venue
The building totals 20,000 sq.ft over two floors (including a back storage area). The lower level is completely accessible and is the perfect space for a reception (dinner + dance). This area hosts a beautifully newly renovated u-shaped bar area with live edge countertops, curated and custom wagon wheel chandeliers, string lights, whiskey barrels, drapery and beautiful barn board.
Access to the upper level is both from indoor and outdoor and features a beautiful secondary and fully functional bar area, custom staged sectionals, a beautiful vintage furniture area which are perfect to host a cocktail hour or simply for guests to escape from the festivities to catch up.
On this level, you will also find our amazing indoor ceremony space featuring a custom barn beam arch, white drapery, vintage chandeliers, string lights and pews for 120 guests (additional harvest benches and chairs can be added to the space).
The venue also features 3 fully functional indoor washrooms (1 which is accessible).
Photo Opportunities
From rustic building to farmers fields, there are photo opportunities everywhere on the property! The venue is situated on 4 acres and surrounded by farmers fields. The venue space is private and quiet and offers a variety of photo opportunities both indoors or outdoors. The outdoor areas offer curated landscaping between May-October and the outdoor ceremony space overlooks the property, wild flower patches and has a lushes green forest backdrop as well.
